Deluxe Tours representative will pick you up from hotel or Nile Cruise where you will be staying. We will drive to a small quay, from which you will board a boat where you can cross the Nile, to start your Nubian Village excursion.
The adventure continues on a camel ride to the place of visit: Gharb Soheil, a Nubian village . Nubia was an African region stretching from southern Egypt to northern Sudan.
You will know that you have arrived at the village when you will start to see the very colorful colored houses, with food stalls and spices … and of course the color of the skin and the look of the inhabitants. The Nubians indeed have darker skin and a look that many people are unable to describe. It is one of the most historic nomadic peoples of Egypt .
In the village, you will browse the market and enter traditional houses to see what lies behind the colorful facades. You will see the rooms, the paintings …. And you can taste typical food and traditional teas . You can also listen to music and make henna tattoos (extra cost).
After the visit, you will return by the same way as to go to arrive at the starting point of the visit.
