Cruise in Dahabeya
Best compromise between the cruise ship (more than 100 passengers) and the felucca (very rustic), the dahabeya offers a handful of comfortable cabins to those seeking at the same time absolute comfort and proximity to nature. The dahabeya is sailing with sails or towed by a tug in the absence of wind. The crew, flight crew, cooks, cleaning staff will ensure that your stay is unforgettable. Its size allows it to dock everywhere almost like the felucca. Your guide, on board with you, will make you discover the cultural sites and the daily life of the inhabitants
A Dahabeya is a sailboat built in the centuries-old tradition of sailing boats sailing on the Nile.
Each dahabeya has a few double cabins (usually between 4 and 8) and two suites, all having their private bathroom with toilet, sink, shower or bath, 220 volt electrical outlet and air conditioning.
The cabins are equipped with either two single beds or a double bed (depending on the boat) and both suites have a double bed, a private balcony and a larger bathroom.
The cabins are located aft of the boat, starboard and port, separated by a central corridor. The communal lounge covers the entire width of the boat which represents a spacious space in a charming and elegant setting for meals or linger in the evening with a cool drink.
The kitchen is at the front, as are the staff cabins and seating area. The surface of the bridge is important; tables, chairs and sun loungers are set to completely relax and offer spectacular views of the Egyptian countryside, while slipping silently on the great river.
All meals, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, are freshly prepared on board by an excellent cook and are served on the terrace. There is nothing better than dinner under the stars in candlelight.
For a family, a small group, the Dahabia is privatized, to achieve exactly the cruise of your dreams!
The common areas, terraces and indoor lounge will allow you to find you all for unforgettable moments!
