Corresponding to the year 1911 AD.. 🔹 Al-Rifai Mosque is one of the ancient mosques of Cairo. It was built in the year 1329 corresponding to the year 1911 AD..
🔹 He was named by that name in relation to (Ahmed Izz al-Din al-Sayyad al-Rifa’i), one of the grandsons of Imam Ahmad al-Rifai, who was born in Iraq and traveled to Egypt and married a girl from the descendants of King al-Afdal Ibn Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi.
The construction of the mosque lasted 40 years.
🔹 It contains renovations stopped in 1880 to return to a trademark, which appears again in 1911, but the time after the death of Khoshyar Hanim, where the mosque was built in the form we see it now..
