8:30 am After breakfast meet your guide to start your visit to the pyramids of Giza those architectural wonders that hardly seem real. From Giza, you head to Saqqara to see the first-ever Egyptian pyramid. It’s a remarkable sight, crumbling slowly yet still as classically shaped as it was more than 3,500 years ago. Then you will see Memphis the ancient capital of Egypt. It’s a full-day tour today, but it moves at a relaxed pace, and the emphasis is on really exploring, rather than simply ticking off the famous sights.
After breakfast at 7:30 am start your tour to Alexandria with a 3 hours drive from Cairo to see the pearl of the Mediterranean sea.
ِAfter breakfast meet your tour guide to start exploring another place in Cairo which is Coptic Cairo or Old Cairo. In one place are traces of the three monotheistic religions, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, and when visiting the Interfaith Complex or Coptic Cairo, the visitor feels a rare pleasure for the high spirituality surrounding the place. Our tour starts from Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque in the city of Fustat, which was founded by Muslims in Egypt after its conquest. Through the Babylon Fortress, which was built during the reign of a Roman Emperor, and a group of churches, the most important of which is the Hanging Church and the Church of Abu Sergius and Mary Gerges Church. Our representative welcomes you with signage at Amman Airport after passing the customs. From here drive directly to Madaba, where to find the famous mosaic 6th-century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. Short ride to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. After we proceed to the Dead Sea, with 400 meters below sea level, the lake is the lowest point on earth, where ever since the days of Herod the Great, people have flocked to in search of its curative secrets. Free time to float and enjoy the salty waters, check-in and overnight.
After breakfast, we drive 3 hours to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. The guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area; free time to explore Petra on your own, before walking the same way back to the entrance. Overnight Petra.
