Arrival at the Oasis of Fayoum. At the entrance, there is the obelisk of King Senousert dating from around 1845 BC. It is the agglomeration center of the Oasis.

isit the Pyramid of Hawara: located southwest of the center of the Oasis. It is the tomb of King Amenemhat3, built in 1797 BC.
A little north of the pyramid is the civil necropolis that was discovered in the 19th century, with most of the famous portraits of Fayoum, made between the 2nd century. BC. JC and the 3rd century AD. These portraits were often painted during the lifetime of these people, hence the youth of faces ..!
The visit of the Pyramid to El Lahoun : located 10 km from the pyramid of Hawara, it was built around 1800 BC. In the 1920s, an archaeologist made an extraordinary discovery between the two walls that support the pyramid: the treasures of Princess Sit-Hathor-Init, some of whose pieces are currently on display at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
