Tour starts with your international arrival on day 1
We will meet you upon arrival at Cairo international airport where you will find our representative waiting for you with a sign name after you claim your luggage. Then you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, meet your guide for a private tour of the Giza Plateau. See the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, the panoramic viewpoint, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Overnight in Cairo.
Enjoy a free day in Cairo or add an optional tour such as the Grand Egyptian Museum. In the evening, transfer to the station for the overnight sleeper train to Aswan, with dinner and breakfast served on board.
Arrive in Aswan and meet your guide. Visit the island Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the High Dam with its views over Lake Nasser. Check in to your Aswan hotel for the night.
An early start for the drive to Abu Simbel to see the great temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, moved to save them from the waters of Lake Nasser. Return to Aswan and embark on your 5 star Nile cruise. Dinner and overnight on board.
Sail north to Kom Ombo to visit the double temple of Sobek and Horus, then continue to Edfu for the Temple of Horus, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. All meals and overnight on board.
Arrive in Luxor and explore the Karnak Temple complex. Cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight on board.
After breakfast, disembark your cruise. Enjoy free time in Luxor, or add a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. In the evening, board the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo, with dinner and breakfast on board.
Arrive in Cairo in the morning and transfer to your hotel or to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight.
